Our mentoring program is guidance-based, flexible and tailored to the needs of each mentee. Mentorships may be in-person, virtual or a combination of the two.

To qualify you must:

  • be a student or recent graduate
  • be hungry to tell stories, communicate + connect, meaningfully with others
  • complete our online application (+ provide supporting references, when requested)
  • have a genuine, heart-centered desire to learn, share and grow

We might a great fit if you’re an aspiring:

  • writer (of any genre or type)
  • entrepreneur
  • public speaker
  • journalist/reporter
  • change maker ready to (insert your method of making happy waves in the world here)

As a mentee, you’re offered:
  • Monthly, one on one meetings, with a Anne Molnar, or another member of the Banyan and Finch Creative Communications team* for guidance, feedback, support or discussion focussing on (but not limited to):
    • Education + academics
    Contacts + networking
    Professional + academic options
    Career path review
    Entrepreneurship
    Communications (writing, strategic communications + brand development)
    Grants + bursaries
    Article + work review (for feedback purposes)
  • On-going support**, as requested, for the duration of the mentorship
